The beginning of forever
Our wedding morning begins from around 8:00 AM, following the traditions of a Telugu wedding. At the heart of the ceremony is the muhurtham - the auspicious moment chosen for the marriage - with each ritual leading gently towards it. The morning unfolds through prayers, family blessings and traditional customs, including Jeelakarra Bellam, Kanyadaanam, the tying of the Mangalsutram, Talambralu, and Saptapadi - each symbolising unity, commitment, prosperity and the promises of married life. Once the ceremony is complete, everyone will come together for a celebratory wedding lunch and the beginning of our next chapter as husband and wife.
For the wedding, we’d love everyone to embrace traditional South Indian wedding attire. Sarees are especially encouraged for women, with silk, handloom or other traditional drapes fitting beautifully with the morning ceremony.
